MJRemi Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Each of my trucks engine bays have a handful of disconnected wires and connectors so I wouldn't be to concerned about that unless you have a specific electrical issue regarding that connector. Vacuum lines are an integral part of these engines so ,yes, they are important. A photo of the line you are discussing would help us help you. airspeed Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 The orange wire with the shielding is for the AC compressor. Vacuum lines on a 2.5 are very important.
