Eagle Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I picked up a 2001 Cherokee Sport that's in fair condition. Interior is pretty clean but the original owner must have been a real lard-@$$, because the driver's seat is REALLY sunk down, and this XJ has fewer miles than our 2000. My plan (I think) is to swap the front seat cushions side-to-side. Does anyone know if this is an easy operation, or is it going to be a PITA?
Comanche County Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I did the exact same thing in mine, just peeled the seat covers off the frame and pulled the foam off the springs, swapped em, reinstalled seat covers and was done. I just pulled some 99' seats, looks like it would be just as easy, I think it would be the same for the 01'.
Eagle Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Do I need hog ring pliers to reinstall the seat covers, or are they slip-fit?
FrankTheDog Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 What color seats do you have? I may have better ones in stock. Give me a call.
