camjeep3
Like the title says my truck is running like poo and has no power. I pulled the vac. line out of the front axle wheeling. left it overnight. went back to retrieve the truck and hooked the line up. Got on the road and the truck seems gutless and sounds like its missing. Not sure where to start looking. I figure ill do a full tune up, it could use it any way. any ideas here guys? Pete M
anyone know if the CAD vac line can suck up a bunch of water and do this?
camjeep3
by buddys dad said something about cleaning the lines... i was in a creek but it wasnt that high. I was still running the truck for a while with the lines disconnected though hmmmm
Pete M
just lock the CAD over, remove all its lines, then plug the originating port. no more lines to break and steal your 4wd at the most critical moments. though that probably won't solve the running rough problem. you might have gotten water on some of the electronics. camjeep3
thats the plan! :wrench: Not having 4x4 really messed me up. the water was maybe up to my rim, and i wasnt splashing through it. I think its a strong possibility that I sucked something up the vac line?
Pete M
I would probably also take a hair dryer to the sensors and the inside of the dist cap. just in case. :D
camjeep3
I will look into it. I'm going to do a full tune up and go from there.
