JeffN
Do not use them, they are cheap Chinese fuses and do not blow when they are supposed to. Story to follow. A customer had his Cherokee towed into our shop yesterday, he said a fuse to his heater controls blew and he put in a new 15 amp fuse. 20 minutes later on his drive the dash starting smoking. The vehicle died and he quickly unhooked the battery and had it towed to us. We found the entire under dash harness had come within prob seconds before a fire would have started. We found the fuse was not blown. Having heard of HF fuses not blowing when they should we ran a test, we hooked a 10 gauge wire onto either side of the fuse and put it inline with a carbon pile load tester. we got 120 amps from it before the 10 gauge wire started melting!!!! Fuse never blew. We were able to recreate the 120 amp test on 3 of the 5 fuses from his purchase. I did a quick internet search and found a lot of posts about the same problems, so be careful and if you have them in your precious truck, take them out and replace them with a quality made fuse.
