How old were you when you got your first cell phone/pager?

I was about 16 when I got my first cell phone. Right around the time I started driving. My parents didn't think it was necessary for me to have one when they were driving me everywhere and always knew where I was. Still with the same number almost 8 years later.

I got my first pager when I was 15, that was in 1994. First phone was in my "car" in 1995, and then I added the use of a "mobile" phone, which was a Motorola Star-Tac short there after. You could use either or just had to have the other one off. Pretty cool, but my bill was like $80 a month for not many minutes. Oh the days of purely analog cell use.
