Dadinator
Well, I got passed the other day by a nice looking 91 short bed 4X4 here locally. He was going the same way as me so, I continued to follow it. It was a stick and sounded real nice. It was lifted with aftermarket wheels and 31's. He turned down a road just about 2 miles from my house so I thought what the heck? I followed him to his driveway. Mind you I was in the focus coming home from work. I told him "Hey I don't mean to be a stalker, but I'm restoring one of these and I had to get a closer look at yours." He was very nice. He bought the truck new and had a lot to say about it. Tough little trucks. He said. He had rebuilt the motor with many performance parts. He told me how strong it ran, etc. etc. He had not heard of ComancheClub. I told him to get on here and join up. We parted and he told me if I needed any info or help, let him know. I can't believe that he lived within a couple of miles of me and I had never seen it before. Hope he joins up! SW86
i think we've all followed somebody in a MJ at some point. ive also found out that more times than not theres probably MJs close by. most of us just use the internet to find them but ive found that just talking to other jeepers/junk yard owners/used car dealers, ive found more that way. hope that guy joins up. we always need more Mj porn to look at :brows:
kyleag89
I've seen a really clean SWB pioneer with a small lift, 31's, and a nice tonneau cover around Waynesboro, PA a few times. I have tried to follow him but it's never worked out. I have been in my MJ and he looked right at me and I waived but I still have yet to talk to him. I'd say almost 100% of the time I find someone with a MJ they either don't care about it or want anything to do with an online forum. :fs1:
ComancheKid45
Ive probably placed over a dozen cards on random MJs i find and have yet to see any of them join up :( I won't give up though, acctually put my last 1 on a beautiful LWB earlier today! Gotta hit up Pete for more cards! :D
dasbulliwagen
I'd say almost 100% of the time I find someone with a MJ they either don't care about it or want anything to do with an online forum. :fs1: I have also found this to be true. Most of the owners are older guys who just need a truck to run around in and haul crap with. Youd be lucky if any of them even own a computer, let alone want to use their time to mess with a forum. SW86
well i passed a clean looking LWB black MJ from Missouri outside Memphis yesterday. i tried to slow down and wrote the website on a napkin but they took the other way at the split. i was doing 60 on the interstate to let them catch up. then they do and go the other way! :headpop: my sister was refusing to write it down for me. calling me a comanche stalker the whole time. which then lead into a whole conversation of every Mj id seen around and how rare and awsome they are. ps. shes 29. not a kid. lol
