CTcrawler Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Does anyone know where the supposed VIN location is on the right side ''frame'' rail on a manche...The DMV tells me there is one there somewhere and they are the DMV so they must be right (sarcasm). :dunno:
jimoshel Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Tell the DVM (Dumb Vehicle Managers) that the last time you went thru a speed trap, their radar gun zapped it. Show them the burnt spot on the frame to prove it.
87Warrior Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I don't recall ever seeing a VIN on the frame rail after I media blasted my truck. I only found some dates stamped into it. It is on the dash, driver door, firewall and front crossmember. The frame rail VIN is really clear on my TJ.
