DansGreyMj
my passenger window does not roll down all the way, it goes down and stops with about 1.5-2 in left, ive already removed the door panel and there was nothing blocking it, i think the track my be worn on the bottom cuz when the window stops the handle keeps spinning(manual windows) and the window needs to be pulled up by hand so that the handle can roll it up again. my question is what do u think it could be and if it is the track how difficult would it be to replace it? 87manche
you need a new window regulator. I don't believe that the cable is available seperatly. My passenger side window does the same thing. http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/parts/ ... /1612.html

mike
there is a cable thing that has wire spiraled around it making a track that the worm gear rides on, the wire is broke and when the spot gets to the gear the handle keeps turning but the window stops. you'll have to replace it, can't fix it i tried to fix mine but no luck. it's not hard to replace, drill out the rivets holding it in place, hold up the window somehow to keep it from falling down, then wiggle it out the speaker hole. put the good one in the same way, i used small bolts to reattach as i didn't have any rivets that large and it works like new again. DansGreyMj
how large are the rivets
HOrnbrod
Use a drift punch to beat out the rivet hardened steel center pins first, then drill the rivets out with a 1/4" bit. Use 1/4 x 20 x 1/2" long stainless bolts and nuts to bolt the new regulator in.
