Would u trade this for a xj and a mj

i got a 1976 GMC 2wd swb it runs good and drive good. I got a guy that got a 1990 xj with 160 k miles and a 1990 mj with a 150k miles

the mj don't have a title its a 1990 4.0 5 speed 2wd short bed the xj has a very clean inside 4.0 auto 4x4 he says its a one owner he got it 3 years ago and has been great. if both runs good would u trade

Depends on how hard it would be to get a title for the MJ. Why doesn't he get one? Should tell you something right there.

it was bougt new and the family sold it to the first buyer with out the title and now its been sold 2 more times i think it got a lean on it i want it for parts i got a 86 mj with a title

Don't know what your 76' is like, but I've had a couple of those late 60 early 70 Chevy trucks. My second vehicle was a 70 GMC or Chevy, can't remember, it was painted completely with bondo and had an unknown 7 cylinder V8. That's because it didn't matter what I did to it, it would never fire on all 8.

When I get a vehicle without a title the first thing I do is try to locate the last titled owner and offer them a $100 for the title. Here they can get a replacement title for $20. Makes it worth their time an trouble. This is only if the vehicle is worth it. Otherwise parts an scrap. And as for the trade, i'd take it.
