Daughter's Commissioning Today

Thanks guys. Agree Jim. Always thought I was fairly military techno-savy with 40+ years military and civilian gov DoD service everywhere, but my little baby girl daughter blows me away when we discuss what she does. Read dinosaur. But she listens and took my advice when I stressed she graduate numero uno in her class cause it might result in an early promotion, and it did. We won't be seeing her much she gets underway in the E3, but she'll be fine. Mom is worried of course. But it's pretty tame out there now.

Congrats Don! Rumor has it that are looking at opening back up the SRF portion of Subic, and a landing field. She might get to serve out that way as tensions mount between China and the ROP. She might serve in the areas there like you did.

I had not heard that Joe. The Navy sure could use the SRF in that part of the world. And the landing field would have to be Cubi. Fedex had their Asia hub there for awhile. Olongapo is her place of birth too.
