Is this plug_n_play? stereo stuff

Installed a amp today and when I went to get the remote wire, i found this.

And when I put everything back together, my stereo was in demo mode.... So i can't even test the system i installed...

 

Its a "pioneer mosfet" very old stereo. I tryed everything to unlock it but nothing worked for me.

looks like it was installed at a Circuit City, or the parts were bought there. Circuit was the only company Metra made those plugs for.

 

what is the radio model number? try turning off the radio and holding buttons for a few seconds, that my let you enter the settings mode. (not sure what button exactly but if you get the model number you should be able to look online for the manual.)

I tryed everything, that google told me what to do including what you said.

But I will try to lok up the vin #s

I think i should by a new one that has usb and ipod connections

I just called the last owner of my MJ and he said is to disconnect the batt. and connect it again then hold the #6 button for 30 sec.

And it worked.

Now hopefully the system I just installed will shake all the lose rust off my jeep!
