SwayAwayComanche Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Hey guys, I'm to the point of hooking up fuel to my ho conversion but can't find much info on it. What seems to be the best way to go about doing this. I would like to keep my stock tank if possible because i have a skid for it and it's in very good shape. Help will be greatly appreciated
JeepcoMJ Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Hey guys, I'm to the point of hooking up fuel to my ho conversion but can't find much info on it. What seems to be the best way to go about doing this. I would like to keep my stock tank if possible because i have a skid for it and it's in very good shape.Help will be greatly appreciated what year is the truck? if it used to be a 4.0, the pump will work, but the gauge will read backwards. if it's a 2.5l, the pump will not send enough pressure to the fuel rail. other than that, I always just get some high pressure hose and oetickres and make an adapter hose to go from the stock fuel lines to the fuel rail.
SwayAwayComanche Posted August 21, 2011 Author Posted August 21, 2011 Thanks for the reply's. Fuel pressure is the same from renix to ho?
JeepcoMJ Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 oetickres? :hmm: http://www.hweckhardt.com/clamps/new2/S ... Clamps.htm a.k.a. stepless ear clamp. used widely in the beverage industry, commonly seen on jeeps for slip-boots on sealed output tcases, as well as most CV joints.
JeepcoMJ Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Thanks for the reply's. Fuel pressure is the same from renix to ho? the pump has the capacity to run H.O. pressure. the pressure regulator will accomodate.
