Dash Brake Light Question...

Driving my Comanche back home from a friends house, the Brake light came on on my dash...

I have no idea what it means, can some one tell me what to do?

Check your brake fluid.

also check that you didn't click the e-brake a couple of clicks

Brake warning light causes:

 

1. parking brakes are applied

2. very low pedal

3. low fluid level

4. excessively worn brake lining

5. there's a pressure differential between the front/rear hydraulic systems

I don't have a e brake cable so probably low fluid.

The switch is on the parking brake pedal no cable required for the light to come on.
