Blue XJ Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I did the conversion a while ago and my turn signals haven't been quite right since. I need a heavier duty flasher but the parts store guy couldn't help. Anyone know which model I need?

The flasher/relay heats up instantly, the bulb is on for a fraction of a second each time it blinks. I'll see if I have any loose connections, or maybe pull a bulb out and see if it changes.

All you need is a "heavy duty" or electronic flasher. If it says it'll work with a trailer, that's what you need.
