I love how in the first commercial, from 1989, they're offering 0% interest, while the 1986 commercials are really excited about 8.8% interest. The times, they were a-changin'.

Anyone know the build specs on those Baja MJs? I've always wondered how they set them up.

I remember a commercial with the jeep being in a cage and them talking about not being to be able to keep all those horses caged or something like that.

The 87 commercial where the big rig pulls up to the rinky-dink diner in the middle of nowhere is great. Diesel smoke from the rig covering every inch of the Jeep as it goes along the highway. I love the local townsfolk walking out to gawk in complete awe at the lone truck on the trailer.

 

Its even better with the sound turned off to make up your own soundtrack and townspeople voices: "What the-" "...gaww-LEE! Whut in TARnation is that?" "Boy I'll tell you what..." Dog in scooby doo voice: "Ruh?!" All followed up by a them all walking like Night of the Living Dead.

Now I know why we can never find bumpers for our trucks! Jeep couldn't find any back then !The 1987 commercial the truck doesnt have a rear bumper!
