I have a question. Just about everytime i turn off my Comanche i smell gas... what does that mean? is it an expensive fix? I replaced the air filter and the gas cap and it is still doing it. also everytime i fill up it over flows on to the ground and that is just my money going down the drain... is that an expensive fix?

I had the same problem. I filled up on gas got it full. 2 hours later girlfriend took me somewhere then we cam back where I parked it. Gas all over the ground. Found out my the seal on my sending unit, where the red and black wires go into, was leaking. Probably same thing you have..

X2 on the injectors.

...but, I had a pretty significant leak on both of the little rubber hoses that the fuel filter attaches to. Couldn't see it unless I had the key on, or running, but it was leaving puddles. I have a gravel driveway and I couldn't see a puddle until I was in a parking lot.

The filler vent tube could be broken/cracked or disconnected. You know when it's gonna do it! Get your @$$ under the truck when you fill up, and figure it out! :wrench:
