terrawombat Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Will a D30 from a ZJ bolt up into my MJ? Picked up a 5.9L ZJ that I'll be parting out next month and one of my MJs is in desperate need of a front axle.
mnkyboy Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Should bolt in but its a LP30 and most likely will have CV shafts in it. It would work but would be a downgrade from stock.
terrawombat Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 I have the axle shafts to convert it to u-joints. I also have a u-joint yoke to replace the CV one that is on it. LP or HP doesn't matter to me. ANYTHING is an upgrade over the stock axle that's in the truck now, but that's only because there is no axle in it... Thanks for the info - I just didn't know if the coil perches and control arm mounts would all line up.
