88swampedmj Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 if i swap in a ax-15 arent the tranny mounts a little different? would i have to move my crossmember? where would i put my cps? it has a external slave cylinder so where would i put it? mjeff87 Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 Tranny mounts are different (AX15 is cheaper, too, and alot easier to source :D ) Crossmember should stay in the same position, but if not, there should be factory holes along the framerail already there to reposition it. CPS stays in the same place, on the bellhousing just like the BA10, and the external slave bolts onto the outside of the bellhousing. Make sure it comes with all the bits and pieces (pushrod, lever, TO bearing, retaining clip, etc.) IIRC, you'll need a different pilot bearing, and maybe a new clutch.
