Rear Axle swap questions??

I have just recently aquired an 97 Explorer 8.8 with detroit locker from a buddies rolled offroad toy. Now i plan on swapping this into my 'manche but i would like to keep the truck spring under due to spending money on new leaf springs already...Is it possible to leave the axle spring under instead of welding the perches on top? Anyone think of any complications with making it spring under...i know the popular way is a SOA conversion but i want to be different.... lol

You are still going to need to weld on perches.. the exploders with on the spring plates is wrong
