Power windows

Has there ever been an mj that had power windows (factory) or ones that have been pre wired? :dunno:

So some are pre wired for power windows, and if so what models if not all. I'm only asking because I have the week off and decided to change nose, fenders, and doors. ( my mj is a 89 eliminator fully loaded). Also what is the switch next to power trans button, I can hear something clicking under hood every time I hit switch

My 87 wasnt pre wired for the power windows, I had to make a harness to get it all to work. I'm not sure about the newer years relative to mine. There is talk of a seperate cross body harness for this purpose, but Ive never seen one.

Most likely your fog lamp relay.

My fog light switch is on the left next to my cargo light switch, don't know what the switch next to power trans switch is

AFAIK there were only three switches available for the US MJs (exports had a rear fog light switch), Trans PWR/COMFORT, Fog Lights, & Cargo Lights. So some PO must have added something on a relay.
