Comanche_Fanatic
Sup y'all? My '90 MJ has alot of things missing from the dash. like the stereo, vents, plus theres cracks on the top and damage throughout it. I wanted to see if theres a good condition stock dash that can come off a cherokee and still fit on the comanche. I'm still wanting to keep that 90s look on it. and would the dash swap be easy to swap out?
jimoshel
Cherokee dash will swap right in. Won't be easy but is doable. Actually is more time consuming than hard.
Comanche_Fanatic
alright, and what about the front passenger fender? would cherokee ones swap in too?
mnkyboy
If your gonna ask questions you need to give enough information for somebody to answer correctly. Yes cherokee and comanche fenders interchange, but if IIRC you have a 97+ conversion so only 97+ cherokee fenders will fit it.
Comanche_Fanatic
yeah thats the problem, idk if the guy changed the entire front end as a 97+ cherokee. I'm thinking about getting the whole new front end and fenders from a 1990 Cherokee or Comanche. and then paint it
mnkyboy
I bet you could find someone that would trade you front ends if you don't like the 97+ stuff.
Comanche_Fanatic
probably, but itll be a lot of work lol.
mnkyboy
Well you need to either swap the entire front end or just buy 97+ parts for yours. Unless you just don't like the newer front I would leave it alone.
