i was skippin through some of the post an someone had mentioned if you don't torque your knock sensor correctly it will still allow the engine to run like poop

 

so what is the correct torque for that bad boy

i wasn't even aware there was a torque for the knock sensor, when i got a new one i just tightened it up. been running fine.

knock sensor must be torqued properly to work, correct.

 

the torque spec is 89 inch/lbs INCH POUNDS not foot pounds.

 

and you won't be able to tell usually if the knock sensor is working or not, unless you're getting knock. it just kinda hangs out in the background until there is a knock condition
