moconnell Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 I have an 88MJ 4.0 Automatic and just recently the tranny started acting weird. when i put it in drive it seems like it is in permanent high gear ( the engine seems to labor to get it moving, it is not slipping.) If i manually shift it down i get plenty of pulling power, but the i have to manually shift it through the gears and it works fine!! Any ideas what my problem could be??
