I got to say it a whole bunch when I rang the Salvation Army bell for the Fire Department:

 

 

I had some interesting comments from people for sure... But all in all, a ton of people emptied out their pockets.

 

Remember to toss some money in the red kettle when you see it!

I actually had a guy yell at me and ask if I was on duty! When I told him no, and that I volunteered for it, he said "good, we don't need to be spending tax dollars on this..." Really guy? Does it matter? I thought to myself, even if I was on duty, would you rather have me in the station watching HBO or standing out here ringing a bell for charity!?

 

I had another guy walk up, put in a couple bucks, and looked up and said "Make sure this goes to the white people, we don't need to keep supporting them Mexicans." :roll: Ok buddy.
