lots of people do it around here. there's even a lights parade with that being the whole idea. i think it's great! way better than house lights. i think i would have gone around the flares and the grill as well. there's some guys here that put christmas trees in the bed of thier truck with lights on them. it's all good. your lighted manche has inspired me, i am doing it next year! :D

In Colorado, its all 'keep up with the Jones's and do what they do!' and it seems nobody takes that step to do something slightly different and when one does - they are looked at like a troublemaker and weirdo. Well thats me all the way. I will do a different type of light next time. These kinda suck in alot of ways.

 

Ya know, those lighted 'ropes' might be better....?
