Are new parking brake pedal assembly's available? YJ?

I did some work on a customer's 80something BWM 3 series and I noticed the hand brake handle had a super short travel.  I'm thinking of putting one of those (or any other that you don't have to pull up very far) as a t-case brake lever to the left of the driver's seat.  I just can't bring myself to sacrifice any of the space between my seats.
