2.5 Valve question

Are the valves on a 2.5 adjustable? Mine are making a lot of nosie when I am driving it. You can feel the back ones on the valve cover when it is idling. Can not fine anything in the Haynes repair manual.

2.5 valves-lifters are not adjustable. First try changing the oil. If that doesn't do it try changing the oil weight. If that doesn't do it get new lifters. Sometimes I find the noisy lifter, rotate the engine until that lifter is on the high part of the cam lobe, and then smack it a good un with a BFH. That only works if the lifters are sticking.

You can replace lifters in the 2.5 without pulling the head :). Don't know why they didn't make provisions for that on the 4.0 but oh well.
