bigalpha Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 If the 02 sensor is bad it can cause the engine to run rich. Well, can this cause a high idle issue too?
Pete M Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 probably not. high idles are usually indicative of a vacuum leak, a bad IAC or a bad TPS.
esporer Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 No sir, o2 sensors only change the mix. A failed o2 won't cause any change in idle speed.
