nameless Posted October 14, 2010 Share Posted October 14, 2010 looking for some help 88 4.0L ax15 swap when i start to go car gets to maybe 10 mph forward in either 1st or 2nd gear and locks up tires, rpms drop, then shoot up, then drop again slams around pretty hard but it drives normal and perfect in reverse... :wall: can't figure it out looking for some input, thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Torquing the motor forward makes it touch, but reverse tips it away (had the opposite problem with a 4 banger.
