com_mako Posted October 7, 2010 Share Posted October 7, 2010 I found some bucket seat from an eliminator mj but the foam and clothing are well worn but I have some seat from a xj 1998 nice and clean ! does someone ever try just to swap the foam and the cloth from the 1998 xj to the fram of the mj ??? glundblad Posted October 7, 2010 Share Posted October 7, 2010 You could probably go to a JY and get a set of 4 door seats from an older XJ that would swap ok (or the covers only). The only problem you may have is the MJ seats have the tilt lever at the top so you would need to cut slits in them to accomidate the lever. That would be one of those "brown moments" if you get it wrong. I think the year for an XJ is '93 or older. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
