I have an 86 Comanche XLS 4x4 with a 3.4l V6 and 5 speed that I am just finishing prepping for use as my daily driver.

The one fluid I have not been able to check/fill is my 5 speed tranny.

I will need to buy a closed end wrench, due to the restricted access on the side of the transmission. I live out of town a ways, and would like to make sure I get the right wrench the first time.

The filler hole has a bolt/plug that seems to have a head size right around 1 inch. The Haynes book does not specify the size. Does any one know the actual size?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Edit: I found from one of my old threads that the FSM calls for 7 pints, or 3.3 Liters.
