ridergoatee Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Do they not make a throttle body spacer for the '86 2.5L comanche? Is because of the type of injection?
DirtyComanche Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Even if they do, I'd not recommend one.
ridergoatee Posted November 11, 2006 Author Posted November 11, 2006 You say no to spacer. Would love to hear your take on it. thanx
DirtyComanche Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 All it does is increase intake runner length, effectivly shifting the power band to a higher RPM range. Unfortunatly it has a negative effect on low end. However, on a motor that makes patheticTQ@2100 and horridHP@4500, it is really a neglible difference. At most you will pick up 1-2HP at the high end. Bang for the buck it blows.
