xmeatbagx
My 87 4.0L auto 4wd truck is idling real low and stalls sometimes. when i go to the store real quick and the motor is still hot it doesn't start at first. You got to give it like 15 min then she'll start... When I got the truck I put a new crank position sensor in cause the old one was bad, back in April or May i'm not sure witch. This problem started 2 or 3 weeks ago. What is causing all this? Any ideas? Thanks, Sean
carnuck
Could be first batch of winter gas (I have to change my filter every time they pump us up to 20% alcohol wintergrade because all the CRAP that's in the fuel tanks comes up and clogs everything!) xmeatbagx
So far since it started doing this I've changed the fuel pump, ignition coil, and the sensor on the right side of the throttle body. Nothing has worked. I'm getting so pissed off with this truck.
carnuck
The one on the head next to the throttle body is for the temp gauge and not the computer! That's the one that is needed to make it run right.
