Rust removal

i have some surface rust on the bed, i've never had to remove rust so I'm wondering, do I just get a wire brush and old fashioned elbow grease or is there some liquid rust remover stuff I should put on first, then wire brush it?

wire brush usually works quite well

well I hope for you that its only surface .....

I hope its not rust comming from the inside peaking out

 

start with a quick sanding

if not wire brush

if not grinder

if not cut and weld
