borla exhaust

Recommended Posts

I had a borla in my '00 S10 with the 4.3, I loved the sound of it, especially with in an intake system, it gave it a nice purr without being obnoxious in my opinion. but be aware that is only a little bit louder then stock.

That sure is an expensive cat-back for a jeep. Rusty's make a cheap flowmaster cat-back and they also sell the exhaust pipe by itself for the XJ but i don't see one for the MJ. anyone know where to get a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust pipe?

i love the sound of the flowmaster 40 on a 4.0 with no cat with 2.5" pipe. all my buddies love it. ive been running it for years on my daily driver XJ. plenty of sound. you won't be disappointed.

I put Gibson headers and a Borla cat back on a '94 2-door XJ, loved the low rumble. Sorta V8-like. I also eliminated the cat later and put a K&N cone so happy breathing. Nice growl but not obnoxious. Spendy...and now that I am poor, I'd probably go a cheaper route.
