Is there or was there a topic. When i hit the brakes on the hard side it just dies. 1990 2.5 5 Speed. THANKS

2 things I remember from that recent topic that you should check:

the big vacuum hose that goes to the booster could be bad (causing a massive vacuum leak that stalls the engine)

or the ground behind the drivers side taillight could be bad (the fuel pump and the brake lights both ground there).

 

how much fuel in the tank?

That is another problem. I thought i read swb have a 18 gallon tank. I ran out of gas put in 1 gallon out of a gas can drove to gas station filled up only took just over 14 gallons. Or is there rust or something in tank. On the vacume hose can i just take of and replace. thanks
