Steering column bolts

Mine are loose and the steering wheel moves all over. I know its a couple bolts that are loose somewhere in the column. What do MJ owners do? Swap out the column or repair? I have another column but I would rather learn to make the repair on my current one. Unless it is that much of a :rant:

Repair it. There was a 'how to' posted recently. Use the search. I've done it several times but it's been so long I forget all the details. I just know it wasn't that hard. The hardest part was removing the lock plate. I made a tool to do it with. Maybe one of the other guys will cut in with a link or more details.
