86JeepComache Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 My Comanche grinds gears in first and reverse, I had a Toyota and had a similar problem: slave cylinder had air in it, so now that i kinda have an idea of what it might be, where in the hell is the slave cylinder on the transmission to bleed it? :dunno:
64 Cheyenne Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Internal ? If so there are two lines in/out of the bell housing. one is pressure, the other is for the bleeder. I'm kind of guessing about your set up as you haven't posted engine tranny combo.
Geonovast Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Unless he has an 86(like his sn implies), or an 87-92 that's been converted, then yes, he's got an internal slave. If you do indeed have an 86, then it's on the passenger side, bolted to the bellhousing. Mentioning having a yoda before, you're probably looking around on the engine side, our slaves work in the opposite direction. 93 AX-5 with 86 Bellhousing and clutch setup in my 91 w/ 2.5
86JeepComache Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 That picture helped, i just can't find the lines to bleed it.
86JeepComache Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 OK, is the clutch adjustable :hmm: ???
