green_miner Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I have a 86 with a 2.5 and a 5 speed. I have put new plugs, plug wires, cap, and rotor in it and it is still missing. any ideas?

dasbulliwagen Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Burned valve, burned piston, head gasket leak, busted rings, low compression....... Lets hope its not any of these.
green_miner Posted June 12, 2010 Author Posted June 12, 2010 The miss is occasional, occoring mostly in 3rd gear for some reason. I'm getting a new clutch for it in the morning. i put autolite plugs in it but a local mechanic told me to put champion copper core plugs in it and it'll help
