neohic
So I've got this chance at some nice Mickey Thompson Classic IIs and they are 15x10s with 3 5/8" back spacing for a sweet deal. My issue is I want to keep my 31x10.50s until they're worn out. I know that these are commonly mounted on 15x8s and I was wondering if anyone had a picture of a 31x10.50 on a 15x10 wheel... doesn't need to be a Classic II, just 10" wide. Thanks! Darren
Don't do it. A 10" wheel is too wide for a 10.50 tire. Ideally you'd want to run a 7" wheel, and 8" would be fine too. But with a 10" wheel you would have zero rim protection, and airing down at all would be a bad idea. If the price is that good, buy them and sell them for a profit. Or store them until you get a 12.50 tire, but even with a 12.50 I wouldn't run a 10" rim.
