wannabeMJ Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 :hijack: do like I do make a list on your beer fridge then you can see where you at every time you go and have a beer and please don't end up on the darwin award list and try to look inside your tank with a fluid lighter :thwak: and I'm also curious why not trying to cut the arm and reattach the float instead of buying a new one???
brian Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 good advice about the lighter. I doubt I'd buy any new part for a while. Still don't know whether the right float arm is in the tank. besides..I'm a scotsman. And,as everyone knows, Scots have deep pockets and short arms
Wildman Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Alright.........the jury is in :D My Theory of Reality would make Albert proud  LWB gas tank (23.5 gallon) Fuel Sending Unit - And as thought...........Short 2-1/2" float arm.........so the short arm wins.............or something like that :hmm:
brian Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 Hey dude! thanks for doing that. At least I now know I have the right unit in my tank. As soon as I pull mine and look in the hole with a lit match :dunce: to see what the resrvoir looks like I'll get this thing figured out.
Wildman Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Better use a Bic lighter........less of a chance to burn your fingers ;)
