ovrszd Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I'm putting a '95 XJ 4.0L, AW4, NP231 in my '89 MJ 2.5L, AX4, NP231. Will the bulkhead wiring harness plugins matchup so I can simply swap the engine compartment wiring harness?? Probably not that lucky but ya never know. Thanks for any tips.
dasbulliwagen Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 No they are completely different, youll need the dash harness as well, and the HVAC housing and controls, and then youll need to re wire your taillight harness to make all the lights work too....lots of stuff there. I'm sure someone who's done it will chime in with better details.

I'm swapping the dash pod and steering column anyway so I've already got the dash open on the MJ. Luckily I've got the donor and recipient sitting side by side in my shop. Thanks.
