Intake ideas

I currently have a rusty's air tube and a cone filter for my intake. I was looking for ideas to make an intake that pulls air from cooler spots. I was considering running tubing from the intake to the whole behind the headlight (picture 1). Cutting a hole in the engine bay pointing straight down (picture 2). or running it to the DS fender which i don't have a picture of, but i got that idea from my buddies chevy pickup which pulls cool air from the inner fender. I'm leaning towards 3 but looking to see what other things people have done

be careful about scooping up road dust. otherwise your filter will clog up faster.
