where to buy new steering shaft

does anyone know where i can get a new steering shaft for my 88 mj?i searched the j/y yesterday and the ones on the cherokees had a different style end at the column.any help appreciated.

What does yours look like? I have the hulk of an '86 XJ here that's about to be cut up for scrap value. I don't feel any deep emotional attachment to the steering column shaft.

it has a large opening at the top where it goes to the column.the ones i looked at the j/y had a smaller opening at the top where the column goes.if yours is in good shape shoot me a price.

I just pulled one out of an 86 MJ and put in my 89. Perfect fit.
