I just finished swapping the fuse block and dash harness from a '90 XJ into my son's

'87 MJ. I know that this sounds far-fetched, but is there any reason why this not so

simple act could cause the engine to idle higher? Before the swap, it was idling fine,

now it idles at between 2500 to 3000. Any ideas?

Sometimes things pick weird times to brake. My brother's starter decided to go out during a motor swap.

You didn't forget to plug the IAC in, did you?

vacuum leak?

I hadn't thought about it, but I'm also doing a little front end body work and have the

front bumper and vacuum reservoir off. Could that be the cause?
