Wondering why it has that it only fits 84 XJ's: Fits these Vehicles 1984 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) 76-83 Jeep CJ-5 76-84 Jeep CJ-7 81-84 Jeep CJ-8 Could there have been a change after 84? :cheers:

I think they are all the same untill they switch to the single Chrysler key that works both doors and ignition (I don't know what year that is).
