jeeplover88
Hey Guys, Just wondering what method to go about in removing and straightening out my rear bumper. Anyone got any pics with the bolt locations? Thanks,
jimoshel
The book shows 6 bolts on each side holding the bracket. However every MJ I've looked at only had 4. one going up from the bottem just to the rear off the spring mount and three going in from the side. Above the spring mount. Then there's the wires for the LP lights.
Wildman
If you can wait a couple days, I can load up some pictures of a OEM bumper I pulled apart and "re-built" about 1-1/2 years ago, I just don't have all the pict's loaded in this 'puter. mvusse
I straightened my rear bumper by jacking up the truck by it, then jumping on the tail gate a few times. After that I backed it into a tree a few times. Then I bolted it to my frame mounted hitch to keep it straight.

Didnt even need a BFH huh? :rotf:
mvusse
Gotta work smarter, not harder. Takes too much effort to swing a 10 pound sledge.
