Had a accident in town yesterday. A Blazer and a Cherokee collided at an intersection. Both were going the same speed so no built up momentum advantage there. The Cherokee suffered minor front end damage. Two occupants un injured.Blazer rolled over landing on it's roof. All three occupants required hospitalation. Moral. If ya want to see an accident, stand at a intersection.

I saw an online article a few days ago about two XJs, both running about 65 mph, hit each other head on. Both Jeeps were demolished, but all 7 occupants were ok.

Moral of the story: Be the one in the Jeep.

when i had my wreck i found out how tough a jeep was. i sure was proud when they pronounced the ford ranger totaled after i hit it. i hit him in the back with the front of my truck, and he still had more damage :clapping:

If you want to see numerous accident, move to the Colorado High Country. I was only there for 8 months (4 winter) and witnessed nearly a dozen rollovers just on my 15 minute trek to work in the mornings.

By my calculations, these vehicles are the most likely to roll, so keep a close eye out for 'em:

#1 Big pickup trucks

#2 SUVs

#3 Subarus

Drove truck between Pueblo an Denver for awhile. After a fresh snow storm saw at least 5 and sometimes 2 dozen vehicles stuck. Interesting note. 98% of the ones laying on their roof were 4WD. It's not the vehicle. It's the hair brained idiot driving.WOW! ! I got 4WD. TROMP ! ! Let's go.

Yup... 4wd shouldn't be advertised as it is. Especially with all these "smart" 4wd/awd systems. 4wd helps you go. 4wd helps you maintain control. 4wd helps you turn. 4wd does NOT help you stop, which is kinda the most important thing when you're on slippery roads.
