AutoMoto
Cool. Let's start another useless topic: what's the BEST motor oil, oil filter, and/or (gasp) Renix or HO engine? These threads are completely counter productive, and are not worth posting up on.... I suppose its boredom that leads me to bite these worthless posts, but as you pointed out we all have our own opinion. James, I'm new to Jeeps, and especially MJ's. If we were talking Audi's, VW's, Porsche's or any other high-end car, I wouldn't belittle your HONEST QUESTION. Maybe I'm asking the wrong question or haven't been specific enough with my use, I'm not sure. But I can assure you this isn't a useless topic, made to start a pissing match. I run a small business and need decent and cheap. I'm on a tight budget, since some politicians killed my income in the car business... :headpop:
Pete M
I would prefer that everyone simply ask their questions if they can't find them using the search. Whatever it may be. For those who are bothered by any repetitious questions, how about bookmarking previous similar threads and posting links to them?
dunl
I've never run them on any of the jeep models I have owned, but I am impressed with the Yokohoma Geolanders we have on our Dodge 3500 CTD. Not sure which ones they are, but I can check it out if you wish. Sometimes the best deals if you need to save cash are take-offs from someone else. As for "useless topics", here's the description we use for our newbie forum: Jeep Class 101 New Jeep owner? There's no stupid questions here. Helping to educate new owners is in every Jeep owner's best interests. The older guys on here know WHY it is in everyone's best interests. ;)

RLCollins
WOW - Gwlongshot - I sure wish I would have talked about my tire purchase before I bought them. I would have rather had 265's instead of 235's, I did not know they made them I wonder how much taller, and wider are the 265's? I have the same rims on my truck as you do. Did you special order these tires? If you don't mine me asking, How much did you pay for them? What did you have on before? :chillin:

They have better then 80% tread remaining. I took BFG 31x10.5's off, these appear just as wide, and at least an inch taller, but the BFG's where very worn... The BFG's where mounted on a AR 589 8" rim where these are on a factory 7" rim. CW
