Dirteatr717
Advanced Placement....aka AP classes stand for advanced procrastination because i always seem to end up on CC or facebook instead of doing my AP economics homework.. I hate school.. wish i could work on my MJ all day lol just needed a quick vent :hmm: alright so I'm in the middle of writing a 8 page paper on Globalization.. any hints and or suggestions for some topics i should touch on?? JeepcoMJ
topics I'd hit are... "how will this directly effect me in my every day life" and, "Does this class even really matter?" ...I took alot of AP classes and tests in high school. they were still too boring so I got C's and B's no A's...tests turned out well though :D but seriously, why would you need to know about globalization? We need LESS of it...

Lemmon714
Some hints and suggestions: Globalization and the cost of energy- How China will drive up the cost of energy as their consumption increases. The cost of health care and pharmaceuticals- How cheaper generics can offset the higher cost of health care. When will the Asian Stock Markets eclipse Wall Street as the world standard? When will the dollar become obsolete or who will be the next successor for the world currency. Need any more ideas?
jpdocdave
globalization is pretty important, and really screwing up our country. the only conclusion i can come up with is there's more going on than any of us will ever know. at first it seems as country and world leaders just have no common sense, but thats not the case. there is more going on then we are led to believe, and more than we can realistically figure out. soon there will be no middle class, and there is nothing more true than the old cliche "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer"

DJM/78
:agree: I am a small business owner. These are some of most important issues that effect everyones pocket book every day. Our country has lost some of the basic core structures upon witch it was founded. However , I think that the focus on small business and the privatization of social infrastructure is some of the best ways to get and keep jobs in our own towns. We could probably all make a living .
